Hi, maybe this is a stupid question, but I didn't find an easy answer on the webpage:
Is CPDL limited to any specific kind of music? Or is it just a "collection of all music sheets we can get our hands on"?
The background of my question is: In germany, there's currently some pressure on kindergartens to license it if they copy music sheets. As most child songs are old enough to be public domain, I thought I'd start to improve the availability of child song sheets. Though I'm not sure if CPDL is suitable for that or if it's more targettet to "serious" music.
What kind of music can be uploaded to CPDL? Any limitations?
Re: What kind of music can be uploaded to CPDL? Any limitati
If they are public domain choral/vocal songs, I think they are absolutely welcome here. If you like (and other admins do not disagree), I can add a "child song" subgenre item to the "add work" form, so that it will be easier to search and identify child songs then.

The appropriate genre category would be (auf Englisch) "Childrens songs"

Maybe "Children's songs", with the Saxon genitive?CHGiffen wrote:"Childrens songs"

That sounds generally good, I'll start uploading some stuff.
A category would be great.
