Main server down
Main server down
At the present time the main CPDL server (www.cpdl.org) and its co-located read-only mirror (www2.cpdl.org) are down. The hosting provider is having problems with a block of servers, and they think that a few hours will be needed to fix the issue.
All other read-only mirrors:
http://www0.cpdl.org
http://www1.cpdl.org
http://www3.cpdl.org
are up and running, so they can be used to search and download scores until full operations of the main server are restored.

Re: Main server down
The server is up and running again, much earlier than expected, however it is still set in a specific mode used by the hosting provider for troubleshooting. I guess that temporary outages may still occur.

Re: Main server down
Its Ok now. Duration od the deny-of-service about one hour between 3 and 4 PM.
Re: Main server down
My fault. I made a mistake when activating the registration process assisted by wiki admins to stop the vandals, however the mistake was hidden for a while by the caching mechanism. Fixed at 14:53 UTC.

Re: Main server down
One hour after, site is accessible but no activity can be seen on the 'recent changes' page.
Re: Main server down
Nobody made changes for a while, apparently. I've just slightly improved the text of the announcement, and my modification is shown regularly.

Re: Main server down
Since about one day, all pages are showing very slowly, with a light-grey empty page step before text showing.
Re: Main server down
Yes, I also noticed something strange yesterday, and the logs show quite large variations of the response time.
I rebooted the server about one hour ago, and response time seems normal and stable now.

Re: Main server down
Pages not showing, or slow down, today.
Re: Main server down
I've been struggling with the server for several hours. I think it was a network problem at the hosting provider's infrastructure, not a server problem, as it was even difficult to reach the server and reboot it, and I also had problems with another server at the same hosting provider. Now the situation seems more stable, and I've rebooted the server to stay on the safe side.

Re: Main server down
Seems to slow down again today.
Re: Main server down
It seems I found the culprit: a modification I introduced to prepare a SW upgrading was causing a rather large server load. After reverting the modification, the server load seems low and stable, and response time seems back to normal values.
