Hello!
I'm a new music teacher at an international school in South Korea. My name is Samuel. There was not room in my school's schedule for a choir so I am making one in my general music classes. I have 8 high school students, 3 boys and 5 girls. All very new to singing and shy about it.
I need a piece that will be fun and easy but also make them feel accomplished when they do a good job. Can't be more than two part (Girl and Boy)
Thanks for the suggestions!

Re: Need Help Picking Rep!
Hello, Samuel
Why not start with simple canons for 2 or 3 voices? They are easy to rehearsal and can give great results. You can pick one here:
http://www.cpdl.org/wiki/index.php/Category:Canons
You may refine your search by using the Multi-category search:
http://www.cpdl.org/wiki/index.php/Chor ... ory_Search
Select "Secular"/"Sacred" for genre, "Canons" for subgenre, 2 or 3 voices, and click on the "List works" button.

This setting on the 3-part Dona Nobis Pacem round may be a good one to start with:

Gastoldi's Balletti, some of which are available at CPDL, are great fun and not very difficult. Their subtitle reads "per sonare, cantare e ballare" (to play, sing and dance), so that opens a lot op doors performance-wise. You could supplement missing voices with (an) instrument(s).
Good luck!
