Hi Everyone,
I am looking for suitable music for my choir to sing during communion (Anglican Church) this Sunday for Mary Mother of our Lord.
We can't sing anything too 'tricky' but can manage a fairly easy SATB anthem. Can anyone make some suitable suggestions?
Also, does anyone know where I can find an easy chant to use as an introit for: Hail Mary, full of grace etc etc...?
Cheers,
Alex.
Mary Mother of our Lord - Music?
Re: Mary Mother of our Lord - Music?
The following page on CPDL lists the various Ave Maria settings:

This is a fairly easy motet by Josquin, in case it's workable for your choir:

An easier anthem, and in English:
Abel diMarco has an edition of the Ave Maria chant:

I hope this helps...
