The Bartered Bride

Post by smokeywisk »

Hi anyone, I'm new here!
I really do rely on audio as much as anything to learn my choral works, as I'm not such a good reader!
The Grimsby Philharmonic Society of which I am a member is doing The Bartered Bride concert version, arranged by Juilian Harris (Boosey & Hawkes). Does anyone know where I can find the appropriate audio for this description please? I don't even have the SATB yet, but I'm desperate to hear ONLY what I should be listening to. Unlike Verdi's Requiem (Just performed), it isn't THAT obvious from the web what I should listen to.
Many thanks for ideas,
Smokeywisk or (darn these silly names), real name Mark.

Hi Mark,

If you go to CPDL's main page (click on the globe above! ) you can find on the left panel two "sponsor" banners; they both offer this kind of service. I'm not sure about NotePerfect, but Choralia provides training aids for free (it's based on donations).

Good luck!
