Hello,
I am trying to make a performing edition of the above (CPDL#18928). I have transcribed it into modern clefs - OK it's work, but fairly straight-forward slog!
But the underlay is something else. One immediate problem: the second part of each of the main verses (1-3) seems not to be set. Only verse 4, which is a doxology, is complete. Is this another case of the use of plainsong for unset text from the hymn? (cf. Monteverdi's vespers).
Or has somebody already made a [perhaps complete] performing edition somewhere?
