June 8-11, 2011 in San Francisco, USA
I think this might be a nice occasion to organize a CPDL meet-and-greet gathering for anyone wanting to meet face to face, perhaps a pay-your-own-way dinner at a nearby restaurant sometime when conflicting conference events are at a minimum.
Are people planning to go, and is there interest in this type of gathering? Please post here or you can e-mail me directly by loging into the main part of CPDL and using the link to send e-mail on the left-side of this page: http://www.cpdl.org/wiki/index.php/User_talk:Vaarky
Not much info on the site yet but they expect to have that available in February:

2011 Chorus America conference (San Francisco USA)
Re: 2011 Chorus America conference (San Francisco USA)
Notifications have started being sent to groups to let them know which ones have been selected to perform as featured performers or in some of the workshops, though I'm not sure if all of the notices have gone out yet. Are other people getting a better sense of whether they will be going, now that the notifications are going out?
Re: 2011 Chorus America conference (San Francisco USA)
The call for conducting participants for the two choral conducting masterclass workshops has just gone out (applications must be received by March 23, 2010):

The choral-orchestral conducting masterclass will focus on Bach and early music style of performing, led by Jeffrey Thomas (8 singers and the orchestra from American Bach Soloists will constitute the performers).
The a cappella conducting masterclass will focus on contemporary music and Scandinavian/Baltic repertoire. This will be led by Ragnar Bohlin, with International Orange Chorale performing.
The program listing the various conference events is expected to be released February 10, 2010.

Conference registration is apparently sold out. Anyone going who has already signed up?
