Michael Dreschel

Post by Richard Cooke »

I am trying to locate and contact Michael Dreschel who has produced a CPDL chorus only version of the Bach Johannes-Passion. There are no contact details for him on the CPDL website. Does anyone know him or have an idea of how I could write to him?

I am hoping to be able to get a vocal part of the treble/soprano line only.

Thank-you if you can help,
Richard Cooke

I'm not sure that it is easy to reach him after more than ten years. Maybe it's easier to autonomously extract the treble/soprano part from his edition, as he provided the source files in Capella format. The free Capella Reader allows to isolate the individual parts and print them. See attached pdf file as an example, obtained from the first item.

I hope this helps.
