Proper voicing category?

Post by pateceramics »

Hi administrator team,

I just posted a new score that is for 6 part men. Tenor, tenor, baritone, baritone, bass, bass. If I read the score submission guide correctly, baritones should be listed as B, same as the basses, so that gives me TTBBBB. But I got a broken link on my works page from that because that voicing page doesn't exist.

Should I change to TBB? It's mainly a 3-part piece. There's only a bit of extra division here and there.

Is there actually another way to represent the baritones that I've missed?

Or have I just goofed somewhere?

Or do we need a voicing page for 6-part men?

The score is "All the Little Fish."

Thanks!
Maggie

Hi Maggie, a category for TTBBBB was just created, no need to change it to TBB :)

Much obliged, Carlos!

And off I go to choir. We're singing everything from the balcony in the back today, so it should sound divine. The Biebl "Ave Maria" and "If I forget, yet God remembers," which is an absolutely gorgeous setting of the Robert Browning poem by Daniel Pederson.

Thanks!
