I've just (I think) proved a theory I've had for some time.
When you submit a new score, the 'This page has been accessed nnn times' text does not appear at the bottom of the page on the first save. If you then make a minor edit and re-save, it does appear.
Is this other people's experience?
If so, would anyone mind if I added a note to the 'Score submission guide' about this? It's nice for contributors to be able to see how much interest there has been ...
Bug in the wiki code?
Hi Mandy. If I recall corretcly, the page access counters are not immediately updated. At least this is true for Special:Popular pages. And if memory serves me correctly, Raf lengthened the time between updates some time back, so as to decrease the load on the server.
