Curious
It seems curious that such a page as this is not being used. However, in truth, I am not really clear on the exact purpose of the page. I was hoping to pick up from other posts what it was really about, only to find that I am the first one here since it was set up last July. Perhaps some guidelines ...

Re: Arrangement Copyright Question
I thought that I had posted a reply to the above... Obviously not. Apologies.
Anyway, I have been in contact with Christopher Moore who has kindly given permission to use his arrangement.
So thanks all round!

Arrangement Copyright Question
I've been looking at the CPDL versions of the Mozart Coronation Mass for my choir's end of choral year concert next June and was on the point of printing down a version when I noticed at the bottom of the page "Arrangement Copyright Christopher Moore 1999". As far as I could see there is n...

Re: New legalese page?
Very late with this reply.
Yes indeed. Every thing now seems OK.
Sorry for the delay in replying, I was away for 6 weeks and in the interim I rather forgot about the issue.
Please forgive my (seeming) negligence.
Antonyx/David.

Re: New legalese page?
Thanks for your response choralia, but I am not using Mozilla, and the situation is that downloads worked fine until the Disclaimer appeared. In the meanwhile, I have changed nothing on my system.
David.

Re: New legalese page?
Although the Disclaimer page is now gone, I am still getting the security warning from my computer. It would be perhaps too much of a coincidence to assume that this is something that has gone wrong in my computer's settings. So for the moment I am assuming it is a problem on the CPDL end. This it t...

Re: New legalese page?
I have no quarrel in principle with disclaimers in connection with copyright. But how is one to have even an idea of the rights situation without seeing the score or reading up something about the composer's dates or other information that will inform? It seems here that the very act of downloading ...

Re: Traffic congestion at ChoralWiki - restricted access
Since the beginning of November I have been encountering the following notice every time I log on: 'ChoralWiki has a problem Sorry! This site is experiencing technical difficulties. Try waiting a few minutes and reloading. (Can't contact the database server: Unknown error (localhost))' The above not...

Carlos and Robert,
Many thanks. I do seem to have recovered my visibility, even when not logged in. But I'll certainly purge from time to time.

Re: I have disappeared - sort of
Carlos, further to the above matter, I have noticed that I do not appear under Irish Composers if I look in on it when NOT logged in. I logged in just now, and something prompted me to try again. There was my name, where there had been a blank moments before! Seems a bit odd. Does this mean that any...

Re: I have disappeared - sort of
Sorry Carlos, I should have provided that. It's David Monks. When originally joining up, I understood that a pseudonym was needed, so I gave one. Now I have become attached to it. So, if you can locate me and restore me to my rightful place, I would breath easier. BTW, I checked again this mor...

I have disappeared - sort of
Under the general list of composers my name appears, together with the pieces I submitted to CPDL. Great! However, under the category of Irish Composers, I seem to have vanished. :? Strange. I never noticed it happening. I feel much the same as before. But it's as if I never was. Sad, innit! Unless ...

Upload Query
About 10 days ago I uploaded (successfully, as far as I can tell) a piece "In Praise of Songs the Die". It hasn't appeared as yet. I'm not pushing to jump a queue, and I realised that Robert, Carlos et al must be extremely busy. Really, I would just like confirmation that the thing hasn't ...
