Carlos, let's remember about this when reviewing the performance indicators of the "Maintenance and Improvement" process.

Re: The First Nowell

I've googled a little bit around, but unfortunately I've only found copyrighted SATB versions, not suitable for CPDL.

Re: Two-part songs - unaccompanied

Works at CPDL are regularly categorized by voicing and they are searchable (does this word exist in English? :? ) using voicing criteria. See: http://choralwiki.net/wiki/index.php/Category:2_part_choral_music If the presence of altos and basses is more reliable, you may used the AB scores, but only ...

Re: Looking for music scores

Armando, If you are located in Italy, you may search the "Music" section of the catalogue of the National Library System (Sistema Bibliotecario Nazionale - SBN). It is available on-line at: http://opac.sbn.it/opacsbn/opac/iccu/musica.jsp . There are several items for such authors, includin...

Re: DNS problems

I had a DNS problem from home earlier today (neither http://www.choralwiki.net nor choralwiki.net were resolved). I'm now at the office, and everything seems OK. I use different DNSs at home and at the office, so I guess that there is some alignment in progress of DNSs around the world. Yesterday I ...

Re: CPDL in Read Only mode during server migration

I've just up-graded the MediaWiki SW to version 1.13.2, but read-only mode seems off, I can edit pages. Could you please try again?

Few minutes ago somebody was connected, perhaps it was Carlos while fine-tuning something. He may have set read-only mode again for a while.

Re: CPDL in Read Only mode during server migration

Last night a new migration to an alternative hosting provider was performed. Read-only mode was activated again yesterday, and it is now removed. The reason is that the provider hosting choralwiki.org observed an excessive usage of resources on their server due to our wiki platform, so we had to mig...

Re: rodeby.noteperfect.net/ moving to cantatedomino.org

The MediaWiki applicaton software includes a specific table in the MySQL database where all the external links are listed. In such a table the links are stored as "blobs" (i.e., as binary objects - I know it's quite an odd term in English), but the table can be exported to a readable forma...

Re: Missing Scores

As you may have noted, the CPDL website is now running on another server. The migration from the old server to the new one has been quite complex. Different ways of archiving the scores were applied during the years, so it is possible that some scores need to be "normalized" with respect t...

It seems that CPDL operations on the new server are stable now. Is your login problem at the wiki website still present?

Usergroups are intended to identify users who share a specific common interest or role within this BB and/or CPDL. In some cases, users belonging to a given usergroup have extended administration privileges. When the BB is created, 3 special user groups are automatically created: - the administrator...

Re: Huge congratulations...

Hi Dave, Our intention is that the CPDL wiki should become "portable", i.e., if it is moved from one server to another server, everything, including the scores, moves altogether. Infortunately the version at cpdl.org (Stanford University) was not portable, probably because at the beginning...

Re: Main site: Login credentials clobbered?

We are currently migrating the whole CPDL website to a new server. We need to postpone this fix after the migration is made, as the wiki "engine" is currently in read-only mode. It's a safety measure to avoid that modifications are made in this phase, that would create inconsistencies.
