Yet again I am really touched by the trouble you kind people here at the CPDL go to in order to help others.
I'll have a look at those links you provided vaarky; emailing the SF School of the Arts man looks like a good idea if I can't find a SAB or SATB arrangement elsewhere.
Thanks again.

Re: Jewish songs
One of the helpful members of a book-site that I frequent - LibraryThing.com - has suggested 'Mi Yimalel', and has posted the lyrics for us. I like the choir in this link: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fmiGBOqlK18 Can anyone suggest where we might find an a cappella SAB or SATB sheet music arrangem...

Jewish songs
Our small a cappella group will be singing some Christmas songs soon but we'd like to sing a couple of Jewish songs too - appropriate to the season (Hanukkah?).
Suggestions would be appreciated.
Thank you.

Re: Female voices singing SAB arrangements
Chris.... Thanks so much for that information. I think we just hoped that we might be able to sing some SAB pieces when we do have a male voice and continue to sing the same when said male voice is absent (substituting with a female voice), but I agree it seems best to find some all-female voiced ar...

Female voices singing SAB arrangements
Is it possibe for music arranged for SA and either T or B (a three-part work) to be sung by just female voices? If so, which female voice should sing the male voice part, given that it will probably have to be sung an octave higher than written? Or would it be better not to try this? The above quest...

Re: Ciacona di Paradiso et dell´Inferno- Anonymous
Thanks for the YouTube link. Excellent. Does anyone know of similar music arranged SATB, or for two or three parts? I don't know where to start looking.
Hope you find the sheet music DeCapo, and good luck for your concert.

Re: someday, I wish CPDL could have a feature that...
It would be lovely to have somewhere for "If you like this piece, you might like to try .........". I have been a bit embarrassed to ask this sort of question as it might seem a bit lazy of me not to have looked through all the options on the CPDL site, but, not being well-educated (musica...

Re: Italian to English translation
Thank you: I get the drift of the sentiment expressed in this canon. Unfortunately (fortunately?) I can't read the Italian in your links, Carlos. And there I think I'll let this matter rest.
