Re: Mass not appearing in Masses category listing

I have always thought it would be much more useful to sort within each of those categories by composer rather than title. I think it's far more likely when someone peruses the Secular music listing that they want to skim to see what the composer options are rather than how many different pieces star...

I agree that search by Composer is more likely.

Re: Recordings of Epiphany Renaissance music

Some singers in our chorus use a keyboard app on their phone for quick portable note-checking; it can be very helpful in a clinch.

Happy new year!

Re: Repertoire ideas? Nature/seasons

Thanks for the ideas--I've forwarded them along and welcome any additional thoughts people may have.

Maggie, Frog Song is not too difficult at all and we welcome complexity.

Repertoire ideas? Nature/seasons

Any repertoire suggestions on the theme of nature and/or seasons for mixed-voice a cappella chorus (scores on CPDL or else available elsewhere), preferably by living composers? Examples of the *type* of sound we gravitate toward include Whitacre, Ticheli's Earth Song, Ola Gjeilo, Frank LaRocca, Ivo ...

Sounds great, thanks. We're in the same time zone, in case you'd like to work on it by phone at some point.

Re: International competition for choirmaster

Thank you for posting. In case you are interested, here are some additional resources you may wish to check in with about spreading the word. Apologies that these suggestions are US-centric. If you haven't already, you may want to check with ACDA.org (the American Association of Choir Directors) if ...

Re: greetings, and a question

Max or one of the other folks can best answer about stats, and surveying users is also a possibility. Since we don't push announcements often, we may want to work in some additional CPDL-related questions. I'm familiar with Google forms and would be glad to work on a survey together if you like.

Re: greetings, and a question

Thanks for your enthusiasm. With regard to a blog, I think fresh content would be very welcome, but I'm not convinced that it needs to be in blog format necessarily. We have these forums, and I'm wondering if it can be done within this structure, maybe a section under General Discussions, rather tha...
