Re: How long between submission and approval (or rejection)?
As we can see on https://www.cpdl.org/wiki/index.php/Help:Score_submission_guide : Since September 2013 some automation steps have been introduced, making it possible for nearly everyone to create new work pages and upload their scores, without requiring specific computer skills or increasing the wo...

Re: Contacting editors of music
Hi, On his editor page: https://www.cpdl.org/wiki/index.php/User:Anthony_Smitha , one can read: " e-mail: Message me here if you want my personal e-mail." On the upper right of each editor page you see the 'Talk' tab, leading to the corresponding talk page. There, on the upper right, click...

Re: AddWorks form probs
What I'd expect to happen is that I'd get some acknowledgement of success or failure. Instead I got the composer's page: https://www.cpdl.org/wiki/index.php/William_Byrd ...where you can check that your new work page is now present or where you are one click away (clicking on the work title) of che...

Re: AddWorks form probs
1. Adding a new WORK page with its first edition: on the COMPOSER page you click on "Add new WORK" then fill the AddWork form AND upload each file during same process. At bottom of the form, just above the 'Add Data' button, you read: "Do not automatically add wiki code to the pages, ...

Re: Malware on link on CPDL
Yes, Internet Archive reproduces pages as they were, but the captcha test doesn't work anymore, so files aren't reached.

Re: MXLs erroneously uploaded under my editions
MXL files created by scanning a pdf are going to vary based on the scanner, I do not *scan* files, except very few 'optical' ones (those that have been produced through photocopy). I *convert* 'musical' PDFs, those produced by a music notation software. and are also quite different from one created...

Re: MXLs erroneously uploaded under my editions
Hi, Karol, Thanks for your contributions to CPDL. I understand your thoughts, but want to let you know that: 1. Converting a PDF file to an MXL one isn't intending to reproduce exactly a visual/optical score. It's intended to allow users to use your edition more easily, to change something about tem...

Re: Laudate Jehovam Transpose
This edition is under 'Personal' copyright. So I'll be able to produce a corresponding MusicXML file, easily useable under MuseScore, as soon as you'll show me the agreement of the editor.
