Dag Leen, Voor kinderen en jongeren: "Slap and snap" uit 4Voices (een boek dat je allicht wel kent), een 4-stemmige en héél leuke canon; voor gevorderden: "Geographical Fugue", in 'Encores for Choirs I", Oxford Press; voor zeer gevorderden: de trilogie van E. Rautavaara ('Te...

Re: Morales/Gregorian chant: Ne recorderis
Oh, I'm so sorry I didn't anounce I did find the score in the Liber Usualis already myself... And, 'Mr.'Patterson, thanks for your generous offer, but I don't need a modern transcription of it. It fits perfectly in the score of Morales. Moreover, I found a very nice recording of the whole by Jordi S...

Re: Morales/Gregorian chant: Ne recorderis
No, never heard of it either. Apart from the mentioned books, I only have knowledge of the existence of the 'Processionale'. But if someone only could post me the requested score, I would be very happy ...

Morales/Gregorian chant: Ne recorderis
I was looking at 'Hispaniae Schola musica sacra', an edition from P. Pedrell (found at the ISMLP-site), which contains some music from Cristóbal de Morales. The last piece from the 'Officium Defunctorum' is the 'Ne recorderis', which is an alternatim with the choir, which sings some verses in the or...

Re: massive works - recommendations
"Miserere", Op. 44 from H. M. Gorecki mentions: "The choir should consist of at least 120 singers". That should also be true for his "Totus tuus" (both not in public domain: the first is published by Chester Music, the latter by Boosey & Hawkes). There are some nice...

Contemporay Icelandic Choir music
Hi, I - and some colleague choir conductors - am aware of the fact that there is quite a lot happening in Iceland, the last decades, concerning contemporary choir music (as in the Baltic States). I 'm thinking of Jon Leifs, Jon Nordal, Thorkel Sveinbjornsson. On the other hand, I have a singer in my...

Ref. : p.179-186 ; 8 p Moralia. - Musica Musarum germana Publisher : Dr...

Brumel - Missa 'Et ecce terrae motus'
Hallo, I was looking for the score of Brumel's Missa 'Et ecce terrae motus', and found the versions by Philip Legge and Bernhard Lang. In the version from Philip Legge, there is a mention of a 'Sibelius 5' file, but this appears only to be a word, not a link to an existant file in the Sibelius 5-for...

Willaert, Vecchie letrose: n° 6 from what?
I found the pdf of 'Vecchie letrose' from A. Willaert, edited by Sabine Cassola. But it has a "n° 6" in his title, en occupies pages 10 and 11.
I'm just curious from wich collection this is taken, or wat the other numbers are.
Very curious,
