1. I need a program which could divide into the syllables any German text. Help, please, in this question too, or at least give an advise.

2. I am looking for a score of Bach:
Geistliche Lieder und Arien aus Schemellis Gesangbuch (BWV 439-507)

I have it in PDF format. However, I need the score in FINALE program's (.mus) format. Could you help me to find it, please?

Probably the best automatic hyphenation (and hence syllable dividing) utilities are to be found within the typesetting program TeX (and its companion documenting formatting utility LaTeX) ... which has hyphenation routines for several languages, including German. Moreover, TeX and LaTeX are in the public domain.

However, it is rather daunting to learn how to use it efficiently, so you might wish to contact a nearby univeristy mathematician (the program is widely used by mathematicians, since its mathematics typesetting capabilities are far and a way the best available).

I thought maybe I can manage myself to use those programs? If I don't cope with it, then I'll try to find the mathematician who could help me.

Tell me, please where can I download the programs TeX and LaTeX (sorry, I don't understand what does it mean: "they are in the public domain"?).
