Hi, I'm trying to log in to correct a score I posted yesterday and keep getting this message:
"There seems to be a problem with your login session; this action has been canceled as a precaution against session hijacking. Go back to the previous page, reload that page and then try again."
Trying that doesn't work, unfortunately.
It's always the way that I notice glaring errors right after posting a score I've been looking at for weeks! I was wondering if anyone knew how to fix the log in? I've tried resetting my password but keep getting the same error message.
Thanks, Will
Problem with login session
Re: Problem with login session
The newest version of the MediaWiki software, installed a couple of months ago, implements some changes to the login mechanism that are tricky. I've now tweaked a configuration parameter that is supposed to relax session hijacking controls when using http rater than https, as, at least for the moment, we only support http. Could you please try again, and let us know if this solves the problem?
