Magnificat 'O Bone Jesu' a 5 - Fayrfax

Post by Crawfy7 »

Can anyone tell me anything about this piece, especially with reference to the CPDL score of this piece. Who sings where, for example, and who's meant to sing the second line?? Speed I can pretty much work out for myself but I somehow don't think it's meant to be the speed of the MIDI file supplied??

Lovely piece, love to know who's meant to sing it!

Our Paul Doe Ed. in EECM 4 [pp.35-48]-S&B 5554- clearly [-It should also be available separately-] indicates on each line the parts[ treble,mean,counter-tenor,tenor,bass].

This piece was recorded (as part of a Fayrfax complete edition) by the excellent English group "The Cardinall's Musick".
