Help! My college president wants my chamber ensemble to sing for a major capital campaign in late January - the requested theme is "songs about dreaming." And no, "The Impossible Dream is not an option (thank God). Any suggestions? We won't have much preparation, so accessibility is vital.

Hello there. One piece that immediately springs to mind is Eric Whitacre's "Sleep" which I think is beautiful. It is, however, not all that accessible and requires some basso profundi (sp?) You should be able to find a few recordings online.

Has it got to be in English? There are plenty of works in other languages about this subject. I'll list a few:
