How to submit a MIDI file

Hello,

The .mid file for Herbstlied by Mendelssohn is not useable, because the tempo and velocity data was badly messed up.

Just made an improved version of that file, how can I submit it for cpdl?

The bad midi file was named
mend-48f.mid

Link to the corrected file:

Hello, thank you for providing a corrected midi file! To make it available to other users, you need to upload it to CPDL (using the "Upload file" option on the left menu - you must be registered on CPDL) and then add a link to it from the Herbstlied page. To avoid you more work, I have done those steps for you.

Just in case you want to upload a newer version of the file, your midi is located at:
http://www.cpdl.org/wiki/index.php/File ... lssohn.mid

Regards,

Thank you Carlos.
Am interested in these choral works because I just joined a choir, and MIDI files may make for good rehearsal material.
For studying the notes easier.

The file can be improved more, by separating the voices in MIDI channels. I need to find out if I can make that happen.
I'll upload more if I can do it;
just tried a few more MIDI files and those are one-channel only too.

Hi Jep, replied to you on your talk page at CPDL. It's easier to link to examples from there.

Best,
