Where to add source?

Post by Cdalitz »

Even though it is unusual on CPDL to give the source of an edition ;-), I have incidentally stumbled over an online facsimile of a print from 1573 that is the source of some editions on CPDL. As I guess that this might be useful for others (finding sources can be time consuming), I have added it to the edition page, but wondered where to add it:

I have thought that the source name (tile, location, year) should go into the "Published" field and the link to the online facsimile to the "External website" field. I wonder however, whether these fields are actually meant for these data.

Can someone please explain where the source should go?

Thanks, Chris

Hi Chris, what you did is fine by me! That's exactly how sources are cited usually.
