Is the bowdlerized title of a Jagger-Richards "composition".
Stellam quam viderunt magi (de Monte), http://www.cpdl.org/wiki/index.php/Stel ... _de_Monte) is described in the text and translations section as a variant of "Stella quem viderant magi" of which there are several settings. I don't believe it's a variant: it's just Latin rendered by a non-Latin speaker with irritable vowel syndrome.
So I propose that the title be editorially altered, and the piece harmonized with other renditions, without comment.
