Hallo,
CPDL #10517 points to the external site http://dick.wursten.be/, but it seems that the piece "Languir me fais" is not there (my Dutch knowledge is limited, but I cannot find any hint on that external site that there are scores at all).
Can this link be corrected to directly point to a site that hosts the piece for download?
Thanks, Chris
"Languir me fais" missing on external site
Re: "Languir me fais" missing on external site
You have to browse "Muziek" (Music) first:
http://www.dick.wursten.be/muziek.htm
and then select "Partituren" (Scores):
http://www.dick.wursten.be/partituren.htm
Linking straight to the pdf file (so called "deep linking") is sometimes a problem if the website structure changes, and the file is moved somewhere else then. On the other hand, linking to the home page (so called "shallow linking") requires to browse the website, which is not always easy, especially in a foreign language. Personally, I prefer shallow linking, and browse the website using google's tools such as the advanced search limited to the specific website, and/or the translator.

What about linking to this site instead of the home page?
I too prefer linking to the external website rather than directly to the website (often these sites are interesting in themselves). The PDF file should however be somewhere available on the external site without sophisticated search techniques, I think.

I think that Carlos has done it already. I noticed that he was working on it at the very time when I was performing a database upgrade, so I hoped that he experienced no problems. However, some of his modifications might be visible on the visitor websites (www0, www1, www2, www3) tomorrow.

It was a bit slow indeed, but no problem, Max.
Most of Dick Wursten editions were already deep linking to a pdf or midi (he seems to have done it himself), so I only had to change a couple of links.
