I found a work with two pages... now what?

Post by LadyIslay »

While scrolling through the 'new' submissions to CPDL, I spotted a Rheinberger Mass listed as "Missa op.62" (http://www.cpdl.org/wiki/index.php/Miss ... einberger)). Curious, I checked it out and discovered that it is actually the Missa Puerorum, which already has an entry here: http://www.cpdl.org/wiki/index.php/Miss ... einberger).

How do I move the new edition to the correct page? Also, is it standard to submit works that only have a source file (Finale) without a .pdf version?

Thanks for pointing this out. I've now merged the pages. If you spot any more, you can alert regular editors using the merge template.

It's not especially normal for us to receive contributions just in Finale format but as there is a free program (Finale Reader) which will let you view and print the scores, we allow it.

Thanks very much. I'll try to remember "merging template" for next time. I wasn't sure if it was something I had to move myself!

Not a problem. You can do it yourself but it can be quick easy to muck up and I didn't have the time to give detailed instructions unfortunately. Using the template is fine.
