Updating Files

Post by SalinaEd »

I recently used Ecco mormorar l'onde by Monteverdi with the following information in the copyright.

Patricio Cueto M. coromonteverdi@terramail.com.pe Distributed under terms of the CPDL License (http://www.cpdl.org). Edition may be freely distributed, duplicated, performed or recorded.

The file was so archaic as to be unclear at times. I reformatted it using newer software trying to reproduce it as faithfully as possible. I attempted to contact the submitter (assuming the the address above was email) to get the file resubmitted but it returned undeliverable. I've used CPDL for years and have to do this before. I would like to submit reformatted music whenever I use ti for the benefit of all. Is this kosher and if so how do I do proceed? I've attached my file so that you can compare it to what is presently being downloaded.
