The earlier one (Vince Brennan) is indeed Poor is the life. The later one (Brian Russell) matches the text that's displayed on the wiki page, but it's not Poor is the life.

No, Brian's edition is actually What is our life? by Gibbons, which is also where the text comes from on the Poor is the life page. Since I can't find Poor is the life on Brian's site, I'll delete the link and correct the text. No chance to ask Brian, unfortunately, as the poor fellow died a couple of years ago.
