Re: problem with uploading multiple movement score
Hi Thomas, As a matter of fact, your previous request for help on the Bulletin Board ( here ) was replied on the very same day by Robert, who added entries for your edition on the following page: Grande messe des morts, H 75 (Hector Berlioz) . Perhaps you were looking for them under a different titl...

DNS problems
Is it just me or is anyone else also having problems to access both the Wiki and the Forums via the address www. choralwiki.net ? Since yesterday I am only able to open these pages if I remove the www from the address. Another strange thing is that when I ping http://www.choralwiki.net, the IP retur...

Re: "Last updated" information for statistics
Since we're on this topic... I noticed that we have quite a number of different date formats on the site. Some are more "international" as "yyyy-mm-dd" and "dd Month yyyy" (found on composer pages), and some are more common in the U.S., such as the dates on the Main Pag...

Re: "Last updated" information for statistics
Hey Chuck, sorry if you had formatted it on purpose! I thought it wasn't intentional since you don't use this date formatting anywere else that I can remember.

Re: How to delete old PDFs?
Hi Chris, your old versions were deleted from the main wiki site (now at choralwiki.net).
The files located at cpdl.org weren't deleted because it's just a temporary clone that will disappear in the near future.
Regards

Re: Extending Template:Lyricist
Done, Rob, the new syntax is as follows: {{Lyricist|lyricistname|optionaltext|9=optional_sortkey}} {{Lyricist|2|lyricistname_1|lyricistname_2|optionaltext|9=optional_sortkey}} {{Lyricist|2|lyricistname_1|lyricistname_2|optionaltext_1|optionaltext_2|9=optional_sortkey}} {{Lyricist|3|lyricistname_1|ly...

Re: How to delete old PDFs?
Oh, now I see what you mean. These files under the "archive" folder are older revisions of current PDFs, that were "archived" by the Wiki software for reference only. They can be safely deleted by me or one of the other admins, by request of the creator/uploader of these files. W...

Re: How to delete old PDFs?
Hi Chris, the exclamation mark is a valid character for file names, differently from question marks. Could you please inform us how you made your Google search so that we may also see the results?
Old files uploaded by you to CPDL can be delete by an administrator, just ask one of them.

Re: CPDL in Read Only mode during server migration
No Max, I am just uploading a new version of LilyPond at the moment. By the way, I forgot to warn you there were other files besides LocalSettings.php that couldn't be overwritten: there are around 5-6 css files inside /wiki/skins/monobook that had been changed in order to avoid blue icons to be sho...

Re: d'India
Hi! To help you we first need to know a few things:
1) How exactly have you done your submittion? You only uploaded the files, or have you also been through the "Add Work/Edition" page and generated the code for the page?
2) What is your user login at CPDL?
Thanks

Re: Fatal error
Hi Dave Yes, this error is related to pages being too large for PHP to handle in memory. We've had a couple of these errors already after the upgrade, and had increased memory size available from 20MB to 32MB, then 40MB. It just happens that the new mediawiki software is consuming too many resources...

Lyricist template and the Lyricist_settings category
Hi all, Sometime ago I proposed that we moved lyricists biographies to category pages, so that any new works page that used template {{Lyricist}} would automatically include that page on the corresponding lyricist category. But now that we're learning how to use the updated DPL extension's advanced ...

Re: Reorganisation of texts and translations
Rob, if that's the case, the easiest way would be by creating a template in the form {{TranslationsBody|<language>}}. I will do some tests to see if the DPL code works well inside templates. Edit: I've just created {{TextRequestsBody|<language>}} and DPL worked fine! :) Do you think the template nam...

Re: Reorganisation of texts and translations
Also, if anyone has any idea why the DPL code leaves a large gap in the first column of the page I cited earlier, I would be grateful if they would shed some light on the matter. Hi Rob, I changed the view mode on that page to one similar to a category, see if you like it: mode=category ordermethod...
