Re: CPDL homepage deleted?

Same for me, but that's quite recent, I was just browsing some scores a few minutes ago !
(BTW, it doesn't seem to be related with the language, I'm French and usually get the .fr version).

Re: Request page - See what has already been requested

Hi, I'd like a three voices chanson by Gilles Binchois, a wonderful song ideed to which I'm getting addicted :
Amours mercy
You can find it on YouTube and thus understand why I'd like so much this score, it's a pure gem !

Re: Works in French

Though google has a sophisticated search engine ; I've just found Binchois and Dufay pieces
by entering exactly
Triste plaisir et douleureuse joye
(without quotes)

Search : a suggestion

Hi, That's about the search feature present on the main page. Would it be possible to have it on every composer page? Quite often, when reading a composer page, you think about another composer who might have written on the same text ; then you always have to go back to the index page... it would be...

Re: Works in French

Well... I don't know which kind of music you're looking for, but you'll find (here on cpdl) many pieces by Sermisy, Sandrin, Janequin, Lassus (Bonjour mon coeur)...
Since those are from a late period of time, they are rather understandable (at least the meaning, if not, sometimes, every word).

Re: everynote.com

I've just read this on their site : Can I redistribute the files derived from the EveryNote catalog? No. Each digital score acquired and distributed by EveryNote, is the sole and exclusive property of EveryNote. Each score digitized by EveryNote has been copyrighted with the US Copyright Office and ...

Re: everynote.com

Indeed it seems to be the same edition. But, strangely enough, their document looks much more pixellized. They must have imported the original in a (free) pdf editor, added their logo, and recreated a new pdf. (I say "(free)" because I can't imagine the genuine Adobe suite producing such a...

Re: What sort of printer you have / access to ?.

I haven't access to anything larger than A4 (like the overwhelming majority of users in Europe IMHO).

Re: Traffic congestion at ChoralWiki - restricted access

I see, "crawler" is the word I wasn't remembering (but indeed I've already seen "google" bot mentionned as a visitor) ! BTW, would it be possible to list the most useful and famous ones, thus rejecting visits by others (including spammers) ? I'm not quite aware of these technical...

Re: Traffic congestion at ChoralWiki - restricted access

Hi Choralia,

What are exactly are these "block crawlers", and what do their visits bring to the site?

Re: Hymne à l'amour (Edith Piaf)

I've searched in the catalog of the French author society (SACEM), and found this on the 5th page dedicated to composer Marguerite Monnot : • HYMNE A L AMOUR Compositeur MONNOT MARGUERITE Auteur PIAF EDITH Arrangeur BOYER JOSEPH AUGUSTE EUGENE Editeur EDIMARTON SARL Strangely enough, there's no date...

Hymne à l'amour (Edith Piaf)

The link published today november 13th points to a blank page; might it be a copyright problem ? (indeed the original url is replaced by one containing "denied") I just can't remember the composer's name, but I'm fairly sure it is not a popular song, contrary to what is written on cpdl hom...
