The best way is to look at Category:TTBB or Category:SSAA ... see Category:Voicing.

Chuck

Edit: You can also type SSAA (or TTBB) in the search box and click on Search.

Hello Kathy, The BB here is experiencing weird problems about postings - and (from your posting here) apparently also with E-mail notices about messages. I've been working on the problem(s) ... pruning the forums and deleting various posts (including offensive ones which have been posted by "bo...

Hi Monika, Unfortunately, something is messed up with the BB, and until I did some pruning, some posts were not even appearing (including yours). I'm still working on the problem, but at least it seems that it may be possbile to post here again, albeit probably with error messages such as the ones y...

Hi Phil,

I can hardly wait to receive a recording of the performance from you. I'll be singing the Brahms German Requiem the same day!

Cheers,

Sounds like a great program. I'm rather sheepishly wondering if I should bother with finishing my own edition of the Browne Stabat Mater ... I probably will, since I, too, have been preparing it for a performance next year (my edition of the O Maria salvatoris Mater was prepared from/for a performan...

I've always seen it and performed it with descending whole, half, whole step (in both keys), never whole, whole, half. And I've probably performed it at least a dozen times.

Hello Andrea and welcome! I just "moved" your composer page to one with the correct title (which is how mistakes in titles are taken care of).

Singing it up a major second is not a bad idea at all. The Tallis Scholars recorded the John Taverner Missa Gloria tibi Trinitas up a major second with good effect, mostly because of their "laser sopranos" ... but when I sang the work with Zephyrus, we sang it at the written pitch and achi...

Well, given the treble highs and bass lows, I would probably sing this at the written pitch. Different pitches might have been used, but I strongly doubt that it would have been sung up a perfect fourth (putting the trebles on a high B flat). More important is to sing it at a pitch that is comfortab...

Thanks for you interesting question about the augmented chant in the tenor. From my experience, both with Sheppard and other Renaissance works constructed on a cantus firmus (such as Sheppard's Salvator mundi, Domine , the Taverner Missa Gloria tibi Trinitas , the Obrecht Missa Sub tuum praesidium ,...

Hi Mandy. If I recall corretcly, the page access counters are not immediately updated. At least this is true for Special:Popular pages. And if memory serves me correctly, Raf lengthened the time between updates some time back, so as to decrease the load on the server.

The Scorch problem seems only to crop up for scores hosted at SibeliusMusic, which makes me think that SibeliusMusic itself is the problem.

Problems with Sibelius Scorch

It seems that just about every time I try to view a score on SibeliusMusic (where many of the CPDL Sibelius scores are hosted), I'm told I have to install Scorch - even when Scorch is already installed! The installation process is time consuming, because, after receiving an error message, I first ha...
