Re: Help! How do I link files?

Welcome to the forums!

A little more information would be helpful. Page name/URL, CPDL reference numbers, etc?

Re: Locating Xerxes

The link works for me. You may wish to right click on the link and choose "save target as..." or "save link as..."

Also check that you have the latest version of Adobe Acrobat Reader - http://get.adobe.com/uk/reader/

Re: I found a work with two pages... now what?

Not a problem. You can do it yourself but it can be quick easy to muck up and I didn't have the time to give detailed instructions unfortunately. Using the template is fine.

Re: I found a work with two pages... now what?

Thanks for pointing this out. I've now merged the pages. If you spot any more, you can alert regular editors using the merge template . It's not especially normal for us to receive contributions just in Finale format but as there is a free program (Finale Reader) which will let you view and print th...

Re: Simplest method to upload my score

You're welcome Ken. The copyright notice is something you would have to add to the PDF yourself. I recommend the following text if you're releasing the edition under the CPDL license: Copyright © 2011 by the Choral Public Domain Library (http://www.cpdl.org) Edition may be freely distributed, duplic...

Re: Simplest method to upload my score

Hi Ken That's sorted for you now. Thanks for giving it a good go - not bad for a first attempt! In the future, if you get confused about adding the composer page and works page, don't worry because as soon as you upload the file(s) and run the add works form, the output is emailed to me and a couple...

If you run into difficulties, feel free to reply here and someone will help. Otherwise, one of the other admins may be willi...

Re: Tracking Favorites or Ratings

This is great, Vaarky. I'm glad that you added a link to the page I created ("the perfect edition") on the page you created, but it would make more sense to me if the two pages were combined. Essentially, we just want existing and potential CPDL editors to have a simple, helpful guide of w...

Welcome!

You certainly don't have to be an expert to help out at CPDL. To submit new scores, check out the score submission guide for simple step by step instructions.

Re: Help in correcting an unusual error

Hi Mike, just upload the new files and copy-and-paste their URLs either here at the forums or into an email sent to addscore (at) cpdl.org. The "add score team" will fix everything. We should not be doing this because it creates a duplicate edition. Simply move the page to the correct tit...

Re: Unable to update table

The form failed because of quotation mark somewhere in it (see the note at the top of the page).

Re: Who has a full version of Encore?

Thanks, Carlos. Anaigeon: you haven't seen it most likely because you're looking at one of the visitor wikis which mirror the contributor wiki every day or so. Basically, you were looking at the out of date page. Try using the www instead of www1/2/3 If you believe there are errors in the score, ple...
