Malware on link on CPDL
Hi all. Looks like some malware on an external site we're linking to: https://www.cpdl.org/wiki/index.php/Veni,_veni_Emmanuel_(O_come,_O_come_Emmanuel)_(Traditional) Brian Riedlinger's edition I've removed the link. Would someone mind reaching out to see if we can get a better one? Or we could host ...

Re: Texts only
Hiya. I think we don't usually do this because the main aim of CPDL is to provide vocal sheet music freely, not texts and translations, the latter being a bit of a bonus extra.
However, I've been out of the loop for a bit so don't take my word as gospel

Why is Warlock's Bethlehem Down copyright in the USA?
As per the title... my only thought was that it would be around the date it was published but I see that was a while ago. Could someone fill me in?
Cheers

Keyboard for note input on Sibelius
Hi guys. Looking for a bit of advice... I'm trying to get back into typesetting music but one of the biggest reasons for me losing interest in this in the past has been the repetitive nature of note entry. I remember at school (a little while ago!) having musical keyboards attached to the computers ...

Re: Recordings of Epiphany Renaissance music
Thanks Max! If you have a few minutes to do the Agnus as well, that would be great.

Re: Recordings of Epiphany Renaissance music
Brilliant, thanks Max! I've just had a sing through. I wonder if you might check one slightly suspect note for me? Bar 7, beat 3, bass, in my copy I have a G below middle C but your synthesised recording doesn't sound like that. Is it a mistake or perhaps a mistake in my edition? If anyone knows of ...

Recordings of Epiphany Renaissance music
Afternoon all Hope you've had a cracking Christmas Day and you're perhaps enjoying more festivities today. In a spare hour or so today I've been trying to find a recording of two pieces of music I will sing at my church on the first Sunday of the Epiphany - Missa in Nativitate Domini nostri Jesu Chr...

Re: thumbnail on Facebook etc.
Thanks for investigating, Max. In this case, because I posted the link from a mobile device, I didn't get to choose the thumbnail that Facebook displays for the link, though I understand this is possible when using the site from a desktop. I believe we can put something in our website code to reques...

Re: Songs of Dreaming
Hello there. One piece that immediately springs to mind is Eric Whitacre's "Sleep" which I think is beautiful. It is, however, not all that accessible and requires some basso profundi (sp?) You should be able to find a few recordings online.
