You're right! Thanks so much! From the Yale Song Book, which I have lurking on the dusty shelves...

I'm trying to track down a part-song which has in it lines something like:
"...we lost all our apparel
And had to go home in a barrel."

Can't think when I've sung it, what the first line might be, or who might have written it!
Does it ring a bell with anyone?

It's called the Magic Carpet, arranged by Paul Jennings and Fritz Spiegel and published by OUP in both TTBB and SATB versions. Good fun, as long as you don't all try to out-shout each other!
