Re: Lyricist vs. Composer
Put the composer's name in the Composer field, put your name in the Lyricist field.

Re: Elephant in the room
I already noticed the wrong attributions earlier this morning and have made changes. The page, being a substantial(?) arrangement, has been moved with the arranger-name as the composer/arranger. Indeed, I was struck by the attributions to Charles Wesley, Jr. - who had nothing at all to do with the f...

The German article dem is also used as a (relative or demonstative) pronoun.

Re: Proper citation style for public domain text
Hello Maggie! If the poem is indeed out of copyright and in the public domain, is it really necessary to cite the work to the edition of Dickinson's poems? My feeling is that you can simply put "Text: Public domain" on your score. You can always back up any challenge, if one should arise. ...

I've done Move of the work page to one with the correct page title.
Also, I've deleted the spurious duplicate file page.

Re: How can I correct a song title?
Welcome back, Eva! Your contributions to CPDL are a treasure, for sure! You can't change a page's title directly. What you need to do is to click on the "More" tab near the top of the page and select "Move" ... this allows you to move the page to a new title. You will have the ch...

The work is by L. Bordes. It can be found in the St. Basil's Hymnal (No. 177, on pp. 275ff), which is available as a Google eBook. Here is a link to the page with the music requested. https://books.google.com/books?id=ag-G1w4TRXQC&pg=PA275&lpg=PA275&dq=l+bordes+haec+dies&source=bl&am...

Re: Multiple voicings with different number of voices
Although it is rarely used (since most are unaware of it), the Template:MultiVoicing should work better. See http://www.cpdl.org/wiki/index.php/Temp ... ltiVoicing for its documentation and examples of its use in various situations, including works with various numbers of voices.

Re: Samuel Babcock page
You are referring to a different Samuel Babcock. The Samuel Babcock page at the ChoralWiki is for the American composer (February 18, 1760 – November 23, 1813), born in Milton, Massachusetts - not the Bishop of the Protestant Episcopal Church to which you refer. The earlier Babcock is well-documente...

Actually, the original (untransposed) edition is indeed scored for SATTBB voices, and the more recently added transposed edition is for SAATTB voices. I'll add the new voicing.

Re: Walford Davies: Surname or full name?
I've replied on the talk page and changed the DefaultSort to reflect Davies as the surname. I commented on the talk page how my father, William Duncan Giffen, with Duncan being his maternal grandmother's surname, was known as Duncan, not William - a similar analogy to Walford Davies.

Re: Rod Mather's Easter Anthems
Actually, the score posted on the externally linked page for Easter Anthems by Mather is Stanford's "Beata Quorum Via" ... obviously an error.
