Adding 'Nunc' pdf to 'Evening Canticles' page
Hi, I have successfully completed an 'Add work' template for the Magnificat of my Evening Canticles (Cornish) submission: the CPDL number is #28968. I have also added the composer page entry. I now wish to add the Nunc dimittis pdf to the same work page. I uploaded the Nunc pdf to CPDL under the nam...

Add work languages
The available languages on the 'Add work' template do not include Cornish. I have several settings of Cornish language texts I wish to "add". Cornish is spoken - and sung - in many parts of the world.
Please can Cornish be inserted?

Re: Arnaldi's copyright
Thanks, both. I'll attempt to follow it up with the publisher, though I doubt I will have any luck as you note, Max. :( CHG: I think my source may have been Simone Oliveri's site because there are two Perosi pdfs within the same hour of downloading, both marked '(c) 2000 Simone Oliveri ... ' (The Ar...

Arnaldi's copyright
Anyone know who holds the copyright of Antonio Arnaldi's works? b. 1900 d.1984, so copyright probably exists still. I have a pdf of a motet for Easter (Haec Dies) by him which I can only think came from CPDL originally. There is now no trace that I can find on CPDL or anywhere of this work or any ot...

Re: Recent scores -discrepancy
Hi Max, It seems to be OK now. Both Visitor and Contributor display newer contributions than 15 September. Thanks for your attention to the prob. I don't understand what was wrong before. There are no proxies (that I know of) between my IE8 and the Internet. I hope the load doesn't get too great and...

Re: Recent scores -discrepancy
I cleared the Internet cache. Symptoms are the same: Contributor interface has updated, Visitor interface has not. Yes, I am using Internet Explorer (as do the majority of CPDL viewers, I'm pretty sure - but I don't know for certain). I don't intend changing just so that I can see updated scores in ...

Recent scores -discrepancy
Another poster - Daniel(le) somebody ? - said no scores had been posted since 15th Sept. I had the same anomaly. I thought it might be a difference between the Contributor and 'sites', but I was 'locked into' the Contributor version. Having logged in (using the lower RHS login, as the banner wasn't ...

Re: PDF documents EDIT PROGRAM
Whatever you find convenient! :) I have Sibelius (v5) to originate notation - yea, ok "loadsamoney" - but as for editting CPDL pdf notes : no chance with anything I've found. YMMV - please share if you/ anyone knows better. I maintain my view that commercial software, particularly a trial ...

Re: PDF documents EDIT PROGRAM
Now I just choose a score, 'open with' Infix, delete unnecessary pages, change text, fonts, page sizes, save and Voila! I'm off to the printers to get my chorister's folders filled! Thank you Infix. I have tried other PDF editors but this served the needs of a musician much the best of any others. ...

Re: Error accessing Tim Pratt's responses
Max, Thanks for fixing that. I didn't expect to cause a problem [sorry!] and I am no expert on ampersand escape thingies. But on a different tack, on music lists and so on it is usual to refer to "preces and responses" as "responses". Not very useful after the files have been nam...

Error accessing Tim Pratt's responses
#13143 and #13144, Tim Pratts Preces and Responses in D minor give an error when trying to get the pdfs. The message for #13143 is: Warning: fopen(/home/cpdl/public_html/www2/wiki/images/6/63/Preces_) [function.fopen]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/cpdl/public_html/www2/w...

Re: New legalese page?
Max,
Many thanks for the tip. I hadn't thought of right clicking the disclaimer acceptance link. Works OK.
Thanks again.
FYI: Win XP3 IE8. No (relevant) toolbars nor extensions.

Re: New legalese page?
I agree - with the question, that is! A perhaps more serious problem: In the case of sib files, I used to be able to right click and "Save target as" to get real sib file download I could edit in Sibelius. Now right clicking and "save as" just saves the disclaimer and there's no ...

Ave maris stella - Christoforo Montemayor
Hello, I am trying to make a performing edition of the above (CPDL#18928). I have transcribed it into modern clefs - OK it's work, but fairly straight-forward slog! But the underlay is something else. One immediate problem: the second part of each of the main verses (1-3) seems not to be set. Only v...
